Computer Exhaust Fans

Any fan that is inside a computer case is known to be computer fan. Its main aim is to cool the computer components. Different fans have been designed to cool different components of computer.
Power suply Fans
The power supply fan (PSU) works in two ways; it removes warm air from inside the air and simultaneously keeps itself from overheating. Some PSU have two fans one large and one small. The larger one is in the bottom to remove case air and the smaller one is placed at the back to drive away the warm air at faster rate.

CPU fans The CPU fans or the heat sink fans are designed to keep the processor at a certain defined temperature. And prevent it from getting heated. In latest technology, CPU coolers have highly heat conductive copper and competently designed heat sink surface air that give out heat in a more effective manner as compared to standard heat sinks.

Chipset Fan
The chipset fans have been made for the purpose of cooling the northbridge of a motherboard's chipset or for system bus overlocking.

Graphics Card Fans
They are one used for cooling the GPU or memory on graphic cards. There was no fan system in the conventional Graphic Card due to their low heat dissipation. But nowadays we find some of the modern cards that are designed for gaming and 3D graphics obviously require their own dedicated cooling fans. Those high powered cards, found to produce more heat need more efficient cooling system.
Case Mount
The cases with the active cooling components move air through the case. It takes the cooler outside air from the front and removes the hot air from the back.

There are other less commonly used fan types as well

Hard disk Fan
The hard disk fans are installed on or beside the hard disk drive. It may be required on the fast spinning hard disks that produces lot of heat.
PCI slot fan
The PCI slot installed on the PCI slots, supply additional cooling to graphic cards or PCI.
